State of North Carolina Personal Income Tax Extensions – Tax Year 2009


 GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS
The State of North Carolina requires that you file North Carolina Form D-410 for a personal state income tax extension, regardless of whether you owe additional state income taxes or expect a refund. If the form is completed accurately and on time, you will be granted an automatic 6-month tax extension from April 15.

Filing an North Carolina tax extension will not provide you with additional time to pay any tax balance due, which must be paid by April 15 or interest and other payment penalties may apply.
