State of Kentucky Business Income Tax Extensions – Tax Year 2010

E-file your IRS business tax extension now with FileLater.

 GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS

The State of Kentucky will automatically grant you a 6 month business income tax extension if you were granted a federal extension. However, you will need to submit Kentucky tax payment voucher Form 720SL (PDF) if you need to make a state tax payment or if you were not granted a federal extension.

If you do not need to make a tax payment and have received an approval notification from FileLater, there’s nothing more to do. Be sure to attach printed a copy of your FileLater tax extension form when you submit your tax return.

Filing for a Kentucky tax extension will not provide you with additional time to pay any tax balance due, which must be paid by your business income tax deadline or interest and other payment penalties may apply.

For additional information, please visit the State of Kentucky Department of Revenue website.
