State of Kansas Business Income Tax Extensions – Tax Year 2010

E-file a business tax extension with FileLater.

 GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS

The State of Kansas will automatically grant you a 6 month business income tax extension if you were granted a federal extension (IRS Tax Form 7004 ). However, you will need to submit Kansas tax payment voucher form if you need to make a state tax payment.

If you do not need to make a tax payment and have received an approval notification from FileLater, there’s nothing more to do. Be sure to attach a copy of your federal extension form when you submit your taxes to Kansas.

Filing a Kansas tax extension will not provide you with additional time to pay any tax balance due, which must be paid by your original filing deadline or interest and other payment penalties may apply.

For additional information, please visit the State of Kansas Department of Revenue website.
