State of Connecticut Business Income Tax Extensions – Tax Year 2009

E-file an IRS business tax extension with FileLater.

 GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS
The State of Connecticut requires that you file for a business state income tax extension, regardless of whether you owe additional state income taxes or expect a refund. If the form is completed accurately and on time, and any tax liability is paid by your original tax deadline, you will be granted an automatic 6 month tax extension. If you were not granted a federal extension, you will need to provide a reason for your requested state extension.

Filing a Connecticut tax extension will not provide you with additional time to pay any tax balance due, which must be paid by your original tax deadline or interest and other payment penalties may apply.

For additional information, please visit the State of Connecticut Department of Revenue Services website.
